Terms of sale
These terms apply when you buy from the 24x7.beer shop. Please read them before you order.
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. Who you are buying from
Shop orders are sold by I Did A Thing Limited ("we", "us"), a company incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability. The 24x7.beer website and Brew Notes community are run by Graham Doessel, who is connected with the seller. You can reach us by email at hello@24x7.beer, through the contact form, or by replying to your order email.
2. What we sell
We sell home-brewing equipment and ingredients. We do not sell or deliver alcohol. Products are shipped to you directly by our suppliers (dropshipping), so items in one order may arrive in separate parcels.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in the currency on the product page and at checkout, together with the shipping cost for your country, before you pay. Your card provider may charge currency conversion fees.
- Payment is taken by our payment provider, Airwallex, on its secure payment page. We never see or store your card details.
- Your order is accepted when payment succeeds and we email your receipt.
- If we make an obvious mistake with a price (for example, a missing digit), we will contact you before we ship. You can choose to pay the correct price or cancel. If you cancel, or don't reply within 7 days, we will refund everything you paid. We will never charge you more than the price you agreed to without your consent.
4. Delivery
We ship only to the countries listed at checkout. Your order is sent directly by our suppliers, so items may arrive in separate parcels, sometimes from different countries. Delivery times shown are our best estimate, not a guarantee. We will email you tracking details when your order ships.
If an item is out of stock or can't be shipped, we will tell you promptly and refund that item, and any shipping you paid for it, in full. If your parcel is lost, or hasn't arrived within a reasonable time after the latest estimate, contact us and we will resend it or refund you. Goods are our responsibility until they are delivered to the address you gave us.
Your country's customs may charge import duties or taxes when the parcel arrives. Unless the checkout says they are included in the price, you pay these to customs or the courier.
5. Returns and refunds
- Change of mind: you can return an unused, unopened item in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Perishable ingredients that must be kept cold, such as liquid yeast, can't be returned for change of mind. Contact us first and we'll give you the return address, which may be overseas. You pay the return postage. We refund the item price within 14 days of receiving it back; we don't refund the original shipping cost for change-of-mind returns. This does not affect your rights for faulty items, below.
- Faulty, damaged or not as described: contact us. A photo helps us sort it out quickly, but you don't have to send one, and there is no fixed time limit on these claims. If the problem is major, you choose a refund or a replacement. If it isn't major, we will repair or replace the item (or refund it if we prefer) within a reasonable time; if we don't, you can have it fixed elsewhere and claim the reasonable cost from us, or return it for a refund. We pay the reasonable cost of returning the item to us, and if it can't be returned without significant cost, we will collect it at our expense.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method.
6. Your consumer rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If you live outside Australia, you also have any rights that the consumer laws of your country give you. Nothing in these terms limits any of these rights.
7. Using the products
Home-brewing equipment can involve glass, pressure, heat and chemicals. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and read our disclaimer. In Australia, beer, wine and cider you make at home are for personal use only and must not be sold. Check the law where you live.
8. Privacy
We use your order details to process, deliver and support your order and to keep tax and accounting records, as explained in our privacy policy. We share your name, delivery address, email and phone (if given) with the supplier and courier who ship your order. They may be in another country.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms for future orders; the version in place when you ordered applies to your order. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, without limiting any rights you have under the laws of the country where you live. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland. This does not stop you using the courts or consumer bodies where you live.
10. If you live in the UK or the EU
You can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To cancel, tell us clearly by email at hello@24x7.beer or through the contact form. Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. We will refund everything you paid, including the standard delivery charge, within 14 days of getting the goods back or proof that you sent them. You pay the cost of returning them, and you may be responsible for any loss in value caused by handling them more than needed to check them. This right does not cover sealed goods you have unsealed that can't be returned for health or hygiene reasons, or goods that deteriorate quickly.
